Dr. Kyla Hillier was born and raised in Tecumseh, Ontario. She attended Belle River High School where she played soccer and spent several summers as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Dr. Hillier graduated from the University of Windsor in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biological Sciences. She then flew across the pond to the UK to begin her studies in Optometry at Anglia Ruskin University, graduating with a Bachelor of Optometry with First Class Honours in 2017.
Determined to return home to Canada, Dr. Hillier completed the Advanced Standing International Program and obtained her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in May 2021. In her free time, Dr. Hillier enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her husband, family and friends. Dr. Hillier is thrilled to be back in her hometown and looking forward to providing optometric care to her community.
