Dr. D’Hondt was born and raised in Chatham-Kent. He graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1979. He started working in Chatham on June 1, 1979, and opened his Dresden practice in the spring of 1980.
Dr. D’Hondt is married, has a son and daughter, and 5 granddaughters.
