Dr. Kristie Drca was born and raised in Tecumseh, Ontario and attended Belle River District High School where she was involved in basketball, stage band, equestrian, and curling. She graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science in Honours Biological Sciences. During this time, she was also a lifeguard and swimming instructor.
Dr. Drca received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She completed clinical internships at the Illinois Eye Institute, The Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind, The University of Kentucky Advanced Eye Care, and both the Veteran Affairs Hospital and the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit.
She enjoys the privilege of practicing full-scope optometry in Essex County and is committed to providing high-quality eye care as well as ocular health education to the community. When not at the office she enjoys jogging, yoga, and traveling.
